Maybe you took the romantic get-away route. Maybe you put the ring at the bottom of an ice cream cone. Maybe you proposed in song. Maybe you tattooed "Marry Me" on your arm.

Whatever your story — share it here with others about to take the matrimonial plunge. And since you might inspire another couple, consider it your good deed for the day.

My girlfriend grew up in the Midwest and moved to Colorado to teach. So, when it came time for me to buy an engagement ring, nowhere else would do, but Bremer Jewelry from "back home." I did some research about diamonds and contacted them. All of our dealings were through phone calls and email, but in the end I purchased just the ring I wanted for Sara.

I planned a mountain hike as we both live in Colorado. When we reached the summit, we stopped and looked around. I told her I felt like I was on top of the world, and it wasn't because we were on the mountain. It was because I loved her and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Amid tears of joy, she said "YES." I presented her with the ring and she was ecstatic. She said it couldn't be more perfect than if she had chosen it herself. I was pretty proud of myself that I could find not only the perfect woman, but the perfect ring for her."

I went in to Bremer Jewelry, not knowing what I wanted Holly's special ring to look like, but I knew I wanted the most beautiful diamond for the most beautiful woman. After a search to find the ring that I knew would be "the one" for her, Ronda asked me, "How are you going to propose?" I know I had the Deer in Headlights Look. I asked for help.

Ronda and I thought long and hard about the right surprise, and I decided to propose at Bremer Jewelry. We planned ahead to have the ring in a case all by itself and we would look at other rings first, then move down till we were right in front of the case and then I would ask her right then.

I was really nervous when I met Holly that evening. We went in to just look." As she tried on rings, we kept moving closer and closer to the case with her" ring in it. She looked in and saw just one ring with a sign next to it that said, "Holly, ... Will you Marry Me? Love, Jeff." By that time I was on one knee with the ring in my hand. I proposed right there, and she said "YES!"

The entire staff was watching and started cheering when she said yes. They had champagne and glasses all ready for us to toast our special engagement. When things settled down a little, we really looked inside that case. There were a dozen pink roses for my new fiancé and a little chocolate cake for us to take home. It was a fun and a really memorable way to propose. Bremer Jewelry make it all possible."
